Born and raised in the Netherlands, Raymond's mulitple awarded career in hospitality is widely recognized and respected.
At age 21 he started as a tour leader for companies such as Boer en Wendel (TUI) and Unitravel, responsible for unique high-end trips throughout the Far East. He served as Residence Manager for the hotel and beach club at Club Cas Abao in the Dutch Caribbean, as an independent consultant and “mystery guest” for some of the best hotels in south east Asia, where he also lived for several years.
Raymond comes from one of the most well-known entertainment families in the Netherlands, and often next to his work in the hospitality industry has assisted his stepmother Tineke Schouten, one of the best-known comediennes and celebrities in the country.
10 years ago Brunyanszki came to Maine and together with his business partner Oscar Verest bought Camden Harbour Inn and Natalie's in Camden, Maine. Today Camden Harbour Inn is a member of Relais and Chateaux and ranked number 19 best boutique hotels in the world and awarded top 100 Best Hotels In The World by Travel and Leisure. Natalie's Restaurant was awarded top 100 Best Restaurants In The USA.
Together with Oscar Verest, Brunyanszki purchased the Danforth Inn in 2014 and opened the swanky restaurant Tempo Dulu in the early summer of 2015. In 2017 the restaurant was also Awarded Top 100 Restaurants in the USA, while the inn ranked number 5 on the Harpers Bazaar list of small hotels in 2016.
Raymond’s day-to-day responsibilities in the business include oversight, management, and direction for Camden Harbour Inn and Danforth Inn and Natalie’s Restaurant and Tempo Dulu in Portland.
He is also responsible for guest services, staffing, and inn and restaurant design in adition to PR, marketing and sales for all properties.
Michael MacDonnell joined Tempo Dulu in the late Spring of 2016. He previously worked at Relais and Chateaux Camden Harbour Inn, where he started in 2008 as a line cook and eventually became the Sous Chef under Geoffroy DeConinck, nominated Food and Wine Best New Chef.
MacDonnell started his career under acclaimed Thai Chef Bounkuang Souimaniphanh where he was trained in the preperation of classical Thai food.
Married to a Thai native and spending many months in the Eastern region of Thailand further developed his South East Asian culinary skills.
Before Michael joined Tempo Dulu he was Executive Chef at Valentina in Camden Maine.
